Paint - $75
Behr's Russian BlueWe have this in our current place and LOVE it, really a lovely grey blue. We already have a fresh one gallon waiting- I'd imagine we'd need about 3 more gallons.
Bathtub - $399
Ideally we'd love to have a tiled bathtub/shower area. However, knowing that this may be cost prohibitive, we are open to other suggestions.
- If there's enough money for it - Tiled bathtub surround
- If there's not enough - Bathtub with some sort of waterproof surround that we can tile over later.
- If we're broke - One piece bathtub/shower
Entry Way Closet
It may be worth considering making the entry way closet our washer/dryer and water heater storage location. We would have to remove the gas heater and extend the closet.
Lighting
Dimmers in the bedrooms and bathroom would be nice, but not necessary.
Perhaps some under cabinet lighting in the kitchen.
Our theory is the brighter, the better. Canned lights work! Not too picky about the specifics, as long as it gets the job done.
The bathroom light switch, however, needs to switch on from the INSIDE of the bathroom (novel idea, having it in the hall... hah!)

Kitchen Layout & Cabinets - $2003.80
Tentative kitchen layout - area below shelf is the location of the sink. Open cabinet on the left is for the built in oven and the stovetop.

Bathroom Sink - $400
Bowl should be offset to the left, providing plenty of counter space for vanity (see bathroom layout). Ideally, sink would be underset.

(note- just returned from Lumber Liquidators in Bellevue on Sat 3/26. We were informed by the salesman that they typically list sales on Thursday, and that the 12mm Beech laminate we LOVE has been dropped down to $1.99 on occasion, and to keep our eyes peeled for their sales.)
